Why Ironhold

Train for strength. Stay for the people.

Ironhold isn't a big-box floor of machines and headphones. It's a coached room: twelve people max, a barbell each, and a coach who watched your squat last Tuesday and remembers what your knee was doing. Whether you've never touched a bar or you're chasing a plate milestone, the program meets you where you are — on Main Street in downtown Brighton, five minutes from the Mill Pond.

Common questions

Do I need to be in shape before I start?
No — that's what we're for. Every movement scales. The person learning to hinge for the first time works as hard as the one pulling triple bodyweight, just at their own level.
I've never lifted a barbell. Is that a problem?
It's the best place to start. You'll learn the lifts from scratch with a coach on the floor — no guessing, no YouTube form checks, no getting hurt in week two.
How big are the groups?
Twelve people max, always with a coach on the floor. Big enough to have energy, small enough that your name gets used a lot.
What does it cost?
Memberships run by track and frequency. Hit the Pricing button up top and we'll send you the current options — the price doesn't change based on how well you negotiate.
